This stunning collection includes 6 packets of drought-tolerant, Great Basin native plants!
The trend of ditching lawns for native, drought-tolerant wildflowers continues thanks to this seed collection! Native plants conserve water, feed native pollinators, and provide habitat for birds. Their beauty in a garden is just an additional bonus considering all their other benefits! If you've been considering trying native plants in your garden, this seed collection is perfect for you!
This collection includes 1 regular sized packet of each of the following varieties:
- Palmer's Penstemon - 200 seeds
- Showy Milkweed - 50 seeds
- Arrowleaf Balsamroot - 55 seeds
- Blanketflower - 60 seeds
- Firecracker Penstemon - 90 seeds
- Silvery Lupine - 30 seeds
Creating a native wildflower meadow is challenging. We are unable to provide site-specific advice for planting, and therefore we strongly recommend that you work with a local landscape professional for consultations about installation and maintenance.
Disclaimer: Lupines contain alkaloids that are known to be toxic to humans and animals. Though toxicity has been predominantly noted in livestock, the danger of poisoning in dogs is a possibility. Source
Scatter seeds in fall for best results, or refrigerate in wet sand for 8 weeks before planting in spring.
*At Snake River Seed Cooperative, we source our seeds from over 50 farmers within the Intermountain West. Occasionally, we have varieties that go out of stock. If a variety from this collection is out of stock and the collection is ordered before we are able to update the product list, we will substitute a different great basin native wildflower.
