Here's what they have to say about this variety's history. \"\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt came to our collection through many hands that received it from the late great seed saver Anpetu Oihankesni who collected it in Kinnaur, India, a Himalayan region in Himachal Pradesh state, bordering Tibet. Barley is a staple of this region in both its solid and liquid form. It is one of the few crops not imported and is instead locally grown and marketed.
