Description
Allium spp.
Whimsical, 4" wide blooms pop in the garden in late spring, on 4' tall plants!
These awesome ornamentals come back yearly and lend a Dr. Seuss-y air to the landscape, with big purple balls on skinny, 4' tall stalks. Shade tolerant, critter resistant! I'm unsure the species (likely A. hollandicum or A. giganteum).
Seeds grown by Earthly Delights Farm in Boise, Idaho and Quel Ranch in Garden City, Idaho,
150 seeds.
Directions: Direct seed in fall or early spring. Plants may take a year or more to bloom. Sun or shade.
