We are focusing on growing African plants. Okra, Sorghum, Kiwano Melon, Basil, Fish Pepper. The Kiwano Melon needs a hotter climate to thrive. Everything else is blooming and producing Seeds which is the focus in our zero waste garden.

We had a bumper crop in mid July and then got a substantial second round of peas in late August without us doing anything special, which was a pleasant surprise! The peas are so tasty and popular, the kids asked if they could take some home to their families.
