Benefit Report
We are proud to provide an additional income source for all of our growers, many of whom are small-to-mid-scale organic farmers. Diversifying income is increasingly important for farms due to climate change and our current unstable economy. With over one hundred thousand dollars going to farmers and seed savers in the Intermountain West, we are elated to keep the money we receive from our customers circulating in our local economy!
The Ability to Adapt Exists in the Few as well as the many
Just Like the Seeds We Hold
We believe that sharing seed-saving knowledge with farmers in our region is vital to growing a robust, regional seedshed.
Our purpose is to unite farmers cooperatively and democratically to create a sustainable, regenerative, bioregional seedshed while being committed to employee welfare and producer-driven economics, while also engaging in and working to create general public benefit!
Cooperative Transition
In January 2022 we transitioned to our current cooperative ownership model from a single-owner LLC model.
