Emma Lou's Golden Bean is a fast growing golden bean. This variety is perfect for a short growing season. They are a compact plant at 12-14" tall. Emma Lou's is perfect as a baked bean! They have a creamy and smooth texture and hold up well during cooking.
Dry beans are believed to have originated in Central America, before traveling North and South where they have been found as a cultivated crop dating back over 4,000 years ago.
