Description
Phaseolus vulgaris
Lovely French filet type green bean, with tender 6” long pods. Chef favorite!
French filet beans (haricots verts) are some of the finest beans for fresh eating. Their delicate, slender pods stay tender on the vine for much longer than other types without becoming woody or stringy. Plants can grow slightly taller than more compact bush beans, growing up to 22-26” tall. Excellent for fresh eating, and our favorite for dilly bean pickles!
