Description
Lactuca sativa var. capitata
Buttercrunch lettuce is named and known for its delightful "buttery" flavor. It's the perfect lettuce for a wrap or a salad. This variety of lettuce is more resistant to heat than others and thus will be less likely to bolt as the summer turns up its dial. However, if planted in full sun, it may require shade cloth for extra protection.
This is an heirloom lettuce!
