Extremely slow-bolting summer crisphead with sweet, juicy leaves.

A favorite of Affinity Farm in Moscow, this loose crisphead lettuce sports thick green leaves that blush pink at the tips while forming a center head. One of the best varieties for summer plantings. Batavian lettuces are among our favorites, and this one doesn't disappoint! Open-pollinated.

Directions: Direct seed in spring, or start indoors in early spring and transplant outdoors after 4-6 weeks. Thin to 12" spacing for heads. For cut and-come-again greens, use 3" spacing.
