Description
Helianthus annuus
Huge plants, growing 10’ tall or more, with 8-16” disks!
A fun plant to grow! Huge plants with huge, bright heads! Remember that our native Idaho sunflowers will cross with these ones, making the heads smaller and smaller year after year if you save seed. Huge seeds make for yummy eating, for you or the birds.
Seeds grown by Bluebird Forest Garden in Orofino, Idaho.
20 seeds.
Directions: Direct seed near last frost date. Thin to 12" spacing and provide a tall stake. Put a bag over drying heads to protect seeds from birds.
