A collection of Greens to keep your salad bowls full into winter!
We love plants that are delicious, nutritious, and frost tolerant! This collection of 6 flavorful, winter-hardy greens will give you the satisfaction of harvesting fresh food in the cold of winter when most other gardens have been put to bed. The only thing that will stop these delicious greens from producing well into winter is the inevitable snow that blankets much of our region. If you receive less than a foot of snow in your garden, you can try planting these seeds inside of a small cold frame or under row cover. Brush off the snow regularly to provide them warmth from the brief, winter sunlight. They will grow slower as it gets colder. Plant them in the fall to enjoy fresh salad harvests in winter.
This collection includes:
- Mache - 375 seeds
- Red Russian Kale - 175 seeds
- Winter Giant Spinach - 80 seeds
- Wild West Kale Mix - 160 Seeds
- Arugula - 200 seeds
- Vates Collard Greens - 145 seeds
*At Snake River Seed Cooperative, we source our seeds from over 50 farmers within the Intermountain West. Occasionally, we have varieties that go out of stock. If a variety from this collection is out of stock and the collection is ordered before we are able to update the product list, we will substitute a different, but similar packet in the collection.
