Description
Allium schoenoprasm
Low-care, tidy, cheerful perennial herb that comes on early with mild onion flavor!
Nothing says spring like stalks of chives pushing surely up through the cold ground, giving way to purple pompons in late spring. Cut back to the ground to harvest and it'll grow again! Clumps slowly expand.
Seeds grown by Winniford Family Farm in Rice, WA and Bluebird Forest Garden in Orofino, Idaho.
200 seeds.
Directions: Sow in clumps in pots or directly outside in spring. Clumps will slowly expand through the years. Clumps will start flowering their second year. Grows well in a container garden.
