Description
Brassica rapa
This super fast growing mild mustard gets you the earliest spring greens!
Market farmers prize the fast-growing mizuna for filling their booths at the first spring farmer’s market. Versatile & nutritious, it can be the mild-mannered star of its own salad or be combined with other spring greens for a livelier mix. Too tender to stand up well to the frying pan, it’s best eaten raw. Otherwise, you’ll lose track of it as it shrinks down to nothing before your eyes in the cooking pot! Harvest baby greens in as little as 21 days!
Seeds grown by Swift River Farm in Salmon, Idaho.
200 seeds.
Directions: For small, cut-and-come-again greens, direct seed in spring and fall into 2" wide bands. Use 6" spacing for larger leaves.
