Their uniquely pungent leaves take many stunning forms, from deep purple to lime green, frilly to lobed to spatula-shaped, but all of them offer you one of the most visceral, remarkable culinary experiences imaginable & a chance to marvel at what a plant is capable of. Selected for slower bolting; great in salads & wraps.
On occasion, we substitute a different but similar variety into our mixes due to inventory changes. After you receive your mix, you can check the printed information on the back of the packet to see the ingredients of the mix.

Directions: Direct seed in spring in 2” wide bands. Or, start indoors in early spring and transplant after 4-6 weeks. Plant 6” apart for big leaves, or 2” spacing for cut-and-come-again for salads. 20 days for baby greens, 45 for full size.
