Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes
An early variety with sweet, tender bulbs.
A very early white kohlrabi which is best harvested when it reaches 3" diameter. The bulbs, which are technically swollen stems, can be peeled, then chopped up and added to salad, coleslaw, and quick-pickled.

Directions: Start indoors in early spring and transplant outside after 4-6 weeks, or direct seed as soon as ground can be worked in early spring or late summer. Thin to 12"
