Description
Solanum melongena
Gorgeous Italian heirloom with stunning streaked skins & fine, fine eating qualities.
These attractive, oval shaped fruits have a firm skin that holds up well when cooked, making them excellent for grilling where other varieties might turn to mush. A very productive variety that produces over a long season, even into late summer as temperatures dip. One of the sexiest garden veggies—a real looker!
Seeds grown by Thompson Creek Farm in Newman Lake, Washington and Swift River Farm in Salmon, Idaho.
