Cucumis melo
Winner of our heirloom cantaloupe trials, unrivaled for flavor!
Over 90% of taste testers chose this as the winner of our heirloom cantaloupe trials. Though ripening a few weeks later than some varieties, it’s well worth the wait, and once they’re on, you’ll be in heaven with heavy production and heavenly taste! Round fruits grow 6-9” across. Harvest when they release easily from the vine with a light tug.
Seeds grown by Sunnyside Vine Farm in Lenore, Idaho.
30 seeds.
Directions: Start indoors in pots 4-5 weeks before last frost and transplant outside after. Or direct seed after last frost. Harden for a week before transplanting, and water thoroughly after. Melons are ripe when they slip from the vine.
