Description
Raphanus sativus
For reals, though—they really do look like tiny watermelons when you cut into them!
This sweet & spicy radish is best grown in the fall and features a variety of center colors ranging from pale green to bright pink. Thinly slice it crosswise to get the full effect of its beauty! A very long keeper that stores exceptionally well in a root cellar, or in your fridge if you aren’t lucky enough to have one. You can eat them well into the depths of winter to keep your spirits high!
