Rouge sang means blood-red - a name which is fitting for these beautiful and delicious carrots. Shades of red, maroon, and violet on the outside fade to bright orange and yellow on the inside. These stunning sweeties grow very well in the high desert climates of the Intermountain West.
Seed grown by Freezone Farm in Nine Mile Falls, Washington.

Directions: Direct seed outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Thin to 1-2" spacing. Can be planted every 2 weeks in succession over the season for an extended harvest, or planted in midsummer for fall or winter harvest.
