Description
Borago officinalis
Long blooming bee powerhouse with delightfully cucumber-flavored flowers.
Honeybees especially go wild for borage, which blooms all summer long. Easily self-sows, but the oil from their difficult-to-catch seeds is potent medicine. Both the scratchy leaves and the dainty flowers are edible and have a pleasant cucumber flavor and the spines disappear when cooked. OP.
