These whoppers can grow to 6″ without becoming woody and are exceptional keepers.

Heirloom storage beet with large, sweet roots and large, robust, glossy green leaves with pink-streaked stems. Very reliable market gardener favorite, and also your go-to for winning "largest" at the county fair. Open pollinated.

Directions: Direct seed outdoors in early spring. Thin to 3-4" spacing, with 6" spacing between rows. Seed in late summer for a fall crop.
