Broccoli, Di Cicco

  • $4.00

Description

Brassica oleracea

Produces ample side shoots all season after the main head is harvested!

Broccoli can bolt quickly in our summer heat, though it holds better in heavier soils. Cut the main head as it starts to bolt, then keep picking florets for the rest of the season. Open-pollinated, and superior to the hybrids in our gardens!

Seeds grown by Affinity Farm in Moscow, Idaho, David Lau of Titbout’s Seeds in Missoula, MT and Twisp River Seed in Twisp, Washington.

175 seeds.

Directions: Direct seed outdoors in spring, or start indoors in early spring and transplant after 6-8 weeks. Plant indoors in late May for a fall crop.
