Description

Papaver spp.

This pretty and nutritious poppy is quick-maturing and tolerant of cool, wet spring weather.

A triple whammy! Large, papery, stunning pink and purple blooms dry down into decorative seed heads that add interest to dried flower arrangements. And, the nutty seeds are highly nutritional, easy to clean, and superb for baking and candies! Likes full sun and well-drained soil. Blooms July-August if deadheaded. Plants can reach 4’ tall.

Seeds grown by Reditus Natural Farming in Ferdinand, Idaho.

500 seeds

Directions: Direct seed outside in fall or spring, at least 2 weeks before last frost. Seeds need light to germinate, so don’t cover them too deeply. Will readily self-seed if seed heads are not harvested.
