Description

Sphaeralcea grossularifolia

Gorgeous and hardy Intermountain West native with unique red-orange flowers.

Visitors to Co-op producer Draggin' Wing High Desert Nursery's demonstration gardens always ooh and ahh and ask about this wonderful little mallow family plant, with its beautiful orange flowers borne profusely on a 2' tall perennial plant. Very hardy and drought-tolerant once established. Thrives in poor soil and generously feeds oodles of little native pollinators! One of our favorites for Idaho landscapes.
