Description
Achillea millefolium
Idaho native wildflower. Drought-tolerant, medicinal, and beautiful!
This incredibly hardy perennial has been used for oodles of medicinal reasons, and makes a scrumptious ale to boot! Extremely drought-tolerant feeds native pollinators. 2-3’ tall. Naturalizes and combines with other wildflowers. Open pollinated.
Seeds were sustainably wildcrafted in the Great Basin by Kyle and friends at Native-Seed Company.
200 seeds.
Directions: Direct sow in spring or early fall, in prepared planting bed. Yarrow requires light to germinate, so press seeds firmly into the surface of the soil, or cover only very lightly. Seeds have no dormancy and should germinate over a range of temperatures. Can also start seeds indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outside when plants are large enough to handle easily, about 8 weeks after sowing.
