This self-seeding annual grows to 3' tall and blooms through the summer. Black Ball is a deliciously dark purple with edible flowers. Folks near foothills should exercise caution as bachelor's buttons can naturalize and compete with natives in some areas. Great in meadow gardens and as a middle-of-the-border plant. Open-pollinated.
