Linum lewisii
An Idaho native wildflower with pretty pale blue flowers. Shade tolerant and partially evergreen.
This gorgeous Idaho native wildflower blooms from late spring into summer. Meriweather Lewis named it botanically after himself when he arrived, as though he discovered it, despite the fact that Shoshone and Bannock people were using it extensively to make cordage at that time. It's a great plant for wildflower meadows. Seeds are used to make linseed oil. Will gently reseed. OP.
