Our favorite Idaho native wildflowers!
This collection includes a selection of 6 seed packets of our favorite wildflowers native to Idaho and the Intermountain West. Planting them provides year-round color and interest, feeds native pollinators and other species, and celebrates our unique place on Earth!
This collection includes 1 packet of each of the following varieties:
- Bee Balm Wild Bergamot - 400 seeds
- Silvery Lupine - 30 seeds
- Firecracker Penstemon - 125 seeds
- Gooseberry Leaf Globemallow - 150 Seeds
- Rocky Mountain Bee Plant - 225 seeds
- Showy Milkweed - 50 seeds
Creating a native wildflower meadow is challenging. We are unable to provide site-specific advice for planting, and therefore we strongly recommend that you work with a local landscape professional for consultations about installation and maintenance.
Disclaimer: Lupines contain alkaloids that are known to be toxic to humans and animals. Though toxicity has been predominantly noted in livestock, the danger of poisoning in dogs is a possibility. Source
Scatter seeds in fall for best results, or refrigerate in wet sand for 8 weeks before planting in spring.
*At Snake River Seed Cooperative, we source our seeds from over 50 farmers within the Intermountain West. Occasionally, we have varieties that go out of stock. If a variety from this collection is out of stock and the collection is ordered before we are able to update the product list, we will substitute a different, but similar packet in the collection.
