An Idaho-bred watermelon variety! Prolific and early-maturing--a sweet, sweet treat!
Bred by Glenn Drowns in northern Idaho when he was a teenager in the 1970s. A wonderful, sweet, easy-to-grow variety that matures early and ripens 8-12” melons for months through the late summer. Great icebox variety, with a few whoppers! Open-pollinated. OSSI Pledged.

Directions: Start indoors in pots 4-5 weeks before last frost and transplant outside after. Or direct seed after last frost. Harden for a week before transplanting, and water thoroughly after. Melons are ripe when they slip from the vine.
