With the cost of some of our food staples rising substantially over the past year, it’s no wonder that people are turning to the garden to source fresh, nutrient-dense food! Many people garden for a sense of solace, creating sanctuaries with Nature at home or together in community gardens. Do all this while bolstering your food supply!

This collection is inspired by the Victory Gardens Era and the successful national effort in WWI & WWII to supplement 40% of individual and regional food needs. It may not be practical to attempt to grow ALL of our own food, BUT, it is possible to increase the amount grown at home, year by year.
We approach the Victory Gardens from the vantage point of later generations in this post exploring the term: Food Sovereignty

*At Snake River Seed Cooperative, we source our seeds from over 50 farmers within the Intermountain West. Occasionally, we have varieties that go out of stock. If a variety from this collection is out of stock and the collection is ordered before we are able to update the product list, we will substitute a different, but similar packet in the collection.
