Not a true sunflower, this 5' tall, branching annual is covered in 4" wide flowers all summer long! The color is an indescribably vibrant orange. This flower is native to Mexico (hence, the name) and other parts of Central America but has since traveled with gardeners and farmers across the world to nearly every continent. Bold cut flower that performs best in poor soil. Open-pollinated.
