Description
Centaurea cyanus
An easy to grow crowd-pleaser!
Also known as the Polka Dot Bachelor's Button, this reseeding annual comes in a mix of pink, blue, purple, white and magenta flowers. It reaches 16-24" tall and makes a great addition to any flower bed. This flower is an heirloom variety.
Folks near foothills should exercise caution as bachelor's buttons can naturalize and compete with natives in some areas. Great in meadow gardens and as a middle-of-the-border plant.
Seeds grown by Field Goods Farm in Boise, Idaho and Titbout's Seeds in Missoula, Montana.
50 seeds.
Directions: Direct seed in Spring after last frost. They do not transplant well due to their long tap root. Prefers full or part sun in well drained soil.
