Description
Daucus carota
Deliciously sweet, fat carrots work well as a fall or spring crop!
One of our favorites for fall planting, they grow great in other seasons, too. These French heirlooms are short (6”), broad shouldered, very crisp, and they store well. We love this one for heavy or rocky soils, and their tapered shape makes harvest easy.
Seeds grown by Swift River Farm in Salmon, Idaho.
250 seeds.
Directions: Direct seed outdoors as soon as soil can be worked. Thin to 1-2" spacing. Plant in midsummer for fall or winter harvest.
