Description
Cucumis sativus
These blocky beauties pack PERFECTLY into canning jars!
Who better to know what makes a good pickling cucumber than the National Pickle Packers Association? They bred this variety in 1929 to be the perfect pickle, featuring short fruits with thick skins, light green stripes, and tapered ends that pack perfectly into jars. Pick fruits often—the ideal size for pickling is 3-5” long. They are also delicious sliced into salads. Resistant to scab & cucumber mosaic virus.
