Description
Brassica oleracea
An open-pollinated, cold-hardy, red-leaved kale?! Be still my kale-lovin’ heart!
Market farmers often grow Redbor hybrid kale as the curly-leaved red standard. This beauty, which hails from the Baltic region, is purportedly one of Redbor’s parents, and it’s even more beautiful in its diversity than its love child. Harvest leaves from the bottom up, and it’ll grow to 3’ tall, continuing to offer forth delicious leaves as it climbs!
