Drunken Sailor Farm evolved from owner Kendra Morgan’s experiences of being a CSA member-turned Intern-turned employee of Earthly Delights Farm, and then finally venturing out on her own.  The farm name is an homage to the old irish drinking song, her 'sailor's mouth' reputation, and the whimsical and anarchistic vibe of the whole operation.

Her favorite seed crops are Mexican Torch Sunflower (for their incredible, velvety stems), State Fair Zinnia (for the bee hotels they become in the colder hours of the morning), Tongue Tickler (for buzzy frozen lemonade popsicles, and punking her friends), and Earthly Delights Watermelon (quarts upon quarts of watermelon juice, all summer long).

*Drunken Sailor Farm is currently on hiatus, and Kendra is currently handling seeds as the sales and operations manager at Snake River Seed Cooperative.  She hopes for an opportunity to get her hands back into the earth, soon.
