Garlic Chives

  • Sold out

Description

Allium tuberosum

Mmm, this tender, mildly-garlic-flavored herb adds a kick to favorite dishes!

Garlic chives take a year to really bulk up, but by year 2 you’ll have a hardy, delicious clump to snip from all year. Late-blooming white flowers offer excellent fall color, making this a good choice for an edible landscape. Open-pollinated.

Seeds grown by Quel Ranch Farm in Garden City, Idaho.

200 seeds.

Directions: Direct seed in spring as soon as the soil warms up. Or, start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplant in clumps, planting the clumps 3" apart.
