This is part 1 of a 2-part organic garlic production workshop with Snake River Seed Cooperative in partnership with Fiddler's Green Farm. In part 1, we'll cover:
🧄 Choosing the right garlic varieties
🧄 Navigating Southern Idaho's allium quarantine for garlic growing, seed garlic production and/or garlic sales
🧄 Organic soil fertility management and crop rotations for growing great garlic
🧄 Bed preparation for garlic planting
🧄 Hands on garlic planting
This field day will include a tour of Fiddler's Green Farm, and we will end with a garlic-focused potluck! 🧄🧄🧄 Bring a garlicky dish to share if you want! We will have drinks available, but feel free to bring your own as well.
