Flat leaf parsley is a biennial, but treat it as an annual in cold climates. In milder Intermountain West gardens, seed some two years in a row to keep a constant self-seeding patch going. Used widely in cooking--great breath freshener! Open-pollinated.

Directions: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplant out after. Or, direct seed in spring after last frost. Since Parsley is a biennial, plant two years in a row to create a self-seeding “perennial” patch. Thin to 12-18" spacing.
