Description
Nicotiana alata var. grandiflora
Oh, the perfume that wafts through the evening air when this lovely flower is in bloom!
The stunning white pendulous flowers of this tobacco are only eclipsed by their olfactory bliss. Not-so-subtle scents of jasmine waft through the evening air, aiming to attract moths for pollination. Easy to germinate and grow, nicotiana will readily reseed if left to its own devices and can tolerate dry, poor soils. Plants can grow 36-48” tall.
