These cheery, red flowers bloom every year in late spring/early summer and bring a decided air of whimsy to a garden. Bees cover their fuzzy bodies in the copious pollen while onlookers gawk with joy at the spectacle. The decorative seedheads add interest, and seeds can be added to baked goods. OP.

Directions: Direct seed in fall or late winter. Or, keep seeds in wet sand in fridge for at least one month before planting. Poppies reseed.
