According to Fruition Seeds, Standfast was selected by Will Bonsall in Maine for years, building on the foundation of thousands of years of indigenous plant breeding. Will generously shared a handful of these seeds with Fruition Seeds in 2012. Now they are a favorite in our fields & gardens, too!

Directions: Direct seed after last frost and thin to 18" between plants. Put a bag over drying heads to protect seeds from birds. When the stalk below the flower is dry, it's ready to harvest!
